In the spirit of propagating constant innovation through environmentally responsible products, CIMES is proud to announce that the Industrial Insulation Group, LLC (IIG) USA & China have jointly appointed CIMES as their exclusive distributor for the Thermo-12® range of Calcium Silicate to South and Southeast Asia.
The Thermo-12® range of pre-formed, high temperature, abuse-resistant pipe and block insulation is inorganic, non-combustible, asbestos-free and exceeds the physical and thermal property requirements of ASTMC533, Type 1. With fast, easy installation, high durability, corrosion resistance, and excellent thermal performance to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit, the Thermo-12® range is recommended for use on piping and equipment in petrochemical, power generation, and process industries.

Singapore, April 2009. CIMES have been selected by QED Chemicals, UK, as the exclusive distributor of its revolutionary Margel™ Vapour Phase Inhibitors (VPI) for Asia Pacific.
Developed in the UK almost 25 years ago, Margel VPIs have been favoured over traditional corrosion inhibitive products for its ease and speed of application and its proven ability to migrate through dense structures like concrete, to be adsorbed onto steel structures.
The product has been successfully used in the UK, in the following scenarios following extensive trials and testing in the:
- Construction industry in concrete repair projects – multi-storey car parks, pre-cast housing, office blocks, bridges etc.

CIMES PL, the exclusive distributor for 3M/Venture Tape Corp’s revolutionary VentureCladTM jacketing systems, is pleased to announce the incorporation of CIMES (Thailand) Co., Ltd as part of its plans to provide easy access to clients in Southeast Asia.
CIMES Thailand will be led by its Managing Director, Mrs. Napassorn Hoebeke, who will pioneer the VentureCladTM PPOG segment in Thailand. Napassorn established her career at the Dow Chemical Company as a Procurement and Supply Chain specialist with an appointment that saw her managing teams across the US, Europe, Thailand and Singapore. Her major projects included the global implementation of the e-Supply Chain and e-Procurement platform (Elemica). As a mechanical engineer by training coupled with a background in procurement, Napassorn’s objective will be to identify and help key users adopt the use of VentureCladTM to address sustainability issues in the areas of cost savings related to safety and efficiency.

CIMES is now the Preferred Distributor of Venture Tape Corp's ground-breaking insulation product VentureClad™ for Southeast Asia. In an exclusive agreement, Venture Tape Corp has appointed CIMES to distribute VentureClad™ to the PPOG (Power, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas) markets.
VentureClad™ is a revolutionary way of weatherproofing insulation as it is the only completely self-adhesive product not requiring mechanical fastening, additional adhesive or mastics to create a seal.
