Technical Consultant (Corrosion Specialist)

A fresh Chemical Engineering graduate preferably with a M.Sc. Eng. degree.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

  • Develop Technical and Marketing data base to promote in Asia Pacific Margel™ a Migrating Corrosion Inhibitor for Steel
  • Provide subject matter expertise to CIMES' sales engineers and their clients in the field of corrosion prevention and corrosion inhibition. Assess, recommend and promote approaches for applying corrosion protection methodologies and techniques to large scale and multiple projects using Margel™.
  • The Technical & Marketing Consultant will provide leadership, tactical planning, research, analysis, and operations/project liaison in support of the client's objectives to preventive or arrest corrosion using Margel™.
  • The Technical & Marketing Consultant will deliver presentations to the clients, providing technical updates and solutions to specific corrosion related problems. He will deliver training session on the subject of corrosion and corrosion of structural steel, corrosion under insulation CUI and corrosion prevention, including knowledge transfer to CIMES' sales force in AP.
  • The Technical & Marketing Consultant will develop a plan to establish a Margel™ manufacturing facilities in the Region including supply chain strategy, operating practices and quality control.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, preferably with a Master in Science
  • Advanced knowledge of various software programs and technologies project planning, group presentation visuals, and spreadsheet and database management
  • Experience in developing new markets and leading related project activities an asset.
  • Travel requirements vary with client needs.

Senior Sales Engineer - Vietnam

Primary Purpose

  • Responsible for developing a new customer base for CIMES.
  • Provides value and innovative solutions to multiple levels of decision makers.

Responsibilities

  • dentify, evaluate and scope new business opportunities for CIMES by working with End Users, EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) firms, Mechanical Contractors and Insulators
  • Develop marketing strategy for using CIMES’ CRM to collate market information for trend analysis and promote new business
  • Build and maintain relationship with all relevant stakeholders and decision makers in the insulation field in the targeted industry
  • Ensure sales targets and milestones are achieved

Knowledge & Skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing. MBA an asset.
  • Extensive experience in developing new markets and leading related project activities
  • 5 to 7 years experience in sales/marketing of products and services to industrial, manufacturing, construction or marine verticals.
  • Having worked with an Insulation or Mechanical/Piping contractor is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language are essential.
