Test piece:
VentureGuard-H 1574cw on 114,3mm pipe and eventual equipment, 6" valve in area U-30/40. Line: J -710-786-AD11-4.00-WF-4 (fire water). Length approximately 20m.
Substrate:
40mm foamglass sealed with self-adhesive aluminium foil, type Venture Clad 1577 cw.
Test site:
EkoJ, outdoor towards south-west, very weather exposed.
Weather conditions at installation:
Cloudy, a little wind. Temp 8-10°C RH 82%.
Durability:
The test installation was completed in April2 006. Still it appears irreproachable, after close to 2 years exposure to weather.

Comments
"VentureGuard-H 1574cw (VGH) turned out to be good and quite simple to install. VGH is elastic, strong and it is easy to remove the protective paper (polyethylene reinforced, siliconated and humidity stable paper) from the adhesive.
VGH is adjustable during installation, it maybe loosened and lifted from the substrate until it has its corrected position and finally maybe fixed on to the substrate.
VGH has an appropriate thickness and covers/smoothens out small unevenness/roughness from the substrate."
