VentureClad™ Closure System 1578CW®
Product Description
VentureClad™ 1578CW® is tape that is primarily used as a facing for insulation. It is also used as a low temperature vapor barrier joint closure system. 1578CW is used as a complimentary product with 1577CW and 1579CW for easier taping of bends in the insulation.
The 1578CW is a 3-ply laminate, made with 2 layer of aluminium foil (outer layers) and 1 layer of polyester film (core), coated with a special cold weather acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive system which combines superior quick stick at normal temperatures with superior low temperature performance below freezing. The construction of this specialty laminate makes it highly puncture and tear resistant as well as flame retardant.
