PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

ULTRALITE Thermal Insulation is an insulation product in the form of pipes, boards and blocks, made through the processes of pressure moulding of ultralite silicate/perlite materials bound by high quality inorganic binders and reinforced by high heat resistant fibres.

ULTRALITE Silicate/Perlite Powder is produced by expansion of silicate/perlite (glassyrock) under extremely high temperature in very light weight powdery material composed of countless airtight bubbles making it a first class insulating material. Basic chemical composition: 74%-Si02; 15%-Al203; 5%-Na203; 4%-K20; 1.2%-CaO.

SAFETY FEATURES

  1. It is asbestos free and entirely resistant from acids such as concentrated sulphuric, acetic and hydrochloric.
  2. Contains less than 150ppm chloride and other corrosive chemicals thus serve as good protection for iron pipes, etc.
  3. Non toxic to human or animals.
  4. High water repellence, especially good for outdoor insulation.

EXCELLENT FOR HIGH AND LOW THERMAL INSULATION

  1. It’s extremely low thermal conductivity makes it good for high and low temperature use
  2. Good insulation from sub zero up to 650oC (1200oF).

APPLICATION

  • Widely used in Geothermal, Petrochemical Plants, pipe insulation, tanks and vessels, food factories, sugar mills and refineries, textile mills, refrigeration and cold storage.
  • The ultralite pipe and block moulded insulation is approximately 20% lighter than the ordinary calcium silicate high temperature thus easy handling and fast application.
